I was blackberry picking yesterday too, but I’m planning an apple & blackberry tart rather than jam. I have jam on tap from my grandmother who lives around the corner 😉
I would love to be able to make homemade jam…might have to give it a try now! We have some leftover raspberries in the fridge. It’s the perfect excuse!
Well done, am put to shame this year, may have to bribe my kids to go pick some berries and might have to freeze them until I get time to do something with them!
To my own shame Dee I still have some in freezer from last year, never got it made (first year ever) but this year I had my Mum visiting and we did it together, which was extra special as it was a memorable part of my childhood

Lucky you Sadhbh… grandmothers’ jams always taste the best 😉

It is so easy, you’ll be hooked once you do and it always tastes nicer than anything you will buy. Good luck 🙂
